Man taken to hospital after scaffolding rescue

I wish the man a quick recovery ,
But why would you get the fire brigade if he is concious would you not be able to get him down the 3 lifts while an ambulance as on route ,
A site I was working on many years ago a concrete lad got hit by lightning on the 5 floor of the scaffold so the lads throw him in a concrete skip and took him down with the crane ,
He made a full recovery and was back at work 3 days later , but the look on the paramedics faces when the seen him covered in wet concrete hahahaha

Gotta say met companies now don't want you to help like that as there putting themselves in the line of possible litigation later on.
Myself, I would do what I could to help as I'd like the same if I ever needed it
