Major contract win for DSL in Ireland

The Industrial Services Division of Deborah Services Limited (DSL) is pleased to announce that they have entered the Irish market having signed a letter of intent for a three year contract with PSE Kinsale-Energy Limited on the Kinsale Head offshore gas field (approx value €1.5m over 3 years), this contract commences on 1st October 2011. DSL will be providing scaffolding services onsite and the company is looking forward to forming a long working relationship with PSE Kinsale-Energy.

This is the first term maintenance contract award for DSL since its formation in 1967 and is a significant event in the realisation of DSL’s plan to grow their share of the Industrial Services sector within Ireland.

PSE Kinsale Energy Limited, (formerly Marathon Oil Ireland Limited), has been producing natural gas from its facilities off the Old Head of Kinsale since 1978. The company was acquired by PETRONAS in April 2009 and currently employs 59 people. The Client’s facilities that DSL will be servicing consist of two offshore installations, Platform Alpha (manned) and Platform Bravo (un-manned) and an onshore installation at Inch. The Client’s offices are in Cork.

DSL Industrial Services Divisional Director comments ‘’I would like to firstly thank DSL Senior Operations Manger for Ireland & Scotland, John Higney and DSL Estimating Manager, Peter Kay and to all those involved in the tendering process, for their continuous hard work in the successful negotiation of this contract and their committed support in helping contribute to the Division’s core goal of growing the business within Ireland’’.
