It is a bonus rate Den. One that can be whipped off of you for unauthorised absence.

Shocking rates and to try and make it up with a bonus that can be withdrawn at will is lowest of the low. This used to be a decent outfit.

In relation to companies paying a low rate and a high bonus this all relates to the holiday pay credits accrued in relation to the new employment laws coming into effect earlier this year.
They need to get their heads out of their arses because even if they make your pay up with bonuses and you earn the same amount consecutively week I week out holiday is paid in relation to your days pay may I add I think I was the first to to set a grievance against a company who tried to give us holiday pay that didn't reflect our earnings and won anyone else had any problems send me a pm and will give you the run down on how to proceed in setting a grievance

So basically scc if you show your average wage packet,no matter how they divide it up thats what they must honour.....you need to start a thread on that mate as ive heard of it but dont know the details :idea:

They've been paying using this system for years now. In Scotland, anyway. Can't speak for the deep south.

Of course they will sp it just depends on the individual and how clued up the employer is in screwing mens earnings down lets hope we see the end of zero contracts and a limited time on how long agents can use you before they have to offer men a full time position not the news a employer would want to here though sp
