Hi I'm just looking for some advice on the best way to get into scaffolding. I'm 25 from edinburgh and thought the best way would be to start off as a scaffolding labourer then look to get my part 1 after 6 months. I've worked on sites since leaving school I've worked as a labourer but am now an Electrician to trade but work is really little and far between and I also hate the job (to many snobs and also boring). Any advice is appreciated so thanks in advance.

ive not been a scaffold labourer for 2years now but not through choice! i was made redundant. i was a scaffold labourer for nearly 2 years and it was hard graft.im looking to get my part 1 scaff but might haved to pay for it myself.i would stick being a spark though even if its boring, damn good trade, theres plenty of work around the country & its no where near as physical as scaffolding
