I been out of the game for about 4 years doing other things. I Was doing it for 6 or 7 years and hold a part 2 ticket. I Would consider redoing my part 2 if needed to If it ment I could get back on to a firm on fixers money,But im not sure who does the coures now and where they are. Not sure of the cost either but I reckon around a grand. I did it in Erith in 2001, and my firm arranged everything out for us.
I Would also consider coming back as a labourer untilll I found my feet again if the money was half decent. Im still only 31 now and the nature of the work wouldnt be a problem as iv kept in shape and done other types of manual work in the meantime. If any ones got any advice id appreciate it.

Thanks SW9

You say you have been doing " other things" .

Was it manual or have you been sat on your arse for the four years you have been away , if its the 2nd then you would find it really hard starting over again , you already hold a part two scaffold ticket . as long as it was achieved through the CITB then all you need to refresh on is the touch screen test which is around £40 and allot of swatting in the book .

Scaffolding is like riding a bike , once you learn you never forget, but personally i would go back to the basics and carry kit for a few months until you pick it up again .

Good luck fella
