belfast - carbon 60 or one way just back from there jobs sound but if u ask me the umbrella system is dodgy as **** half ur wages expenses even though u earn more through ur hourly rate

Jigga I don't understand why not umbrella I've not done it yet but have mates that clear an extra £100 a week on it where you do expenses every week so £5200 a year is better than a on average £2-3000 tax rebate surely

I'm not having a dig mate just don't understand why it gets the stick cheers
 
The way I see it having done Umbrella, Direct, Self Employed etc

The upside with Umbrella Companies/Agency you get to offset your expenses against tax.

Agency; No Holiday, no employment rights, offset your weekly expenses to cover employers NI, employee NI, and your tax

vs Employed (on the books), Full employment rights, 20 days and Bank holidays holiday, pay your own NI and Tax, Employer pays Employers NI, claim expenses back at the end of the year anyway, even if not as much as when Self Employed for a firm.
 
Great breakdown Mr I'd love to try umbrella in truth preference on Utr,umbrella and Paye depends on your circumstances ie paye for a family man, self emp for a traveling man doing the hours
 
Thing is mr - i dont think you can beat it for flexability- financially ur up as well - lets be honest, just cos ur on the cards doesnt give you job for life lol u can be fcuked off just as easy as a self employed guy.and as for the holiday entitlements - theyre kinda offset by the increase in take home pay that you get & less ni contributions
 
Im done them all i just prefer umbrella in the last 12 months ive traveled all over the south and loving it pyroy denholms sca shs all great companys at the moment ive had good references reason why kept my head down done the job not let anyone down do 21 days on the belt end then home for a week and this last 12 months have flew in couple of holidays with the family happydays i will keep looking cheers guys
 
bobby i disagree with umbrella because its usually associated with the scum agencys,also from storys ive heard not everyone is up
on take home pay i know a few guys who actually lost money because theyr agency only letting them claim so much. also who wants the hassle of all
the claiming/making up lies to make your money up,pain in the ass!also fecks your tax rebate,im self employed and thats my preference even over books in.
 
each to ther own bobby but jst a few mates working for an agency who i wont name coz the boys seem happy enuff with the agreement and they get plenty work from them, are havin a bit of a nitemare with claiming expenses. no doubt il be on the umbrella scheme at one point but just not if i can help it mate
