workin off shore and keep hearing of these lads living in spain , paying less tax than the u k and living in the sun , does any one know how this works ??

thanks lads

maybe depend on what countrys tax system they get paid through rob, maybe the spanish tax is less than ours mate think theres a few lads on here reside in spain too keep an eye out for their posts.

you become a resident of spain, then just travel over to go offshore, takes same time as say getting the train from sheffield to Dyce.
you will need an NIE number once you have proof of residency ( house deeds or rental contract ) then contact spanish authorities for tax purposes.. you must have most of your assets in spain and not the uk for tax purposes, its easy opening a spanish bank account... hope this helps mate.

depending where you want to live, but average rent £400p/m or around £120,000 for a 2 bed/2 bathroom apartment...

Dont bother, just opens a can of worms, and you end up paying tax on everything, just suck it and pay the tax to the uk,otherwise you will end up paying twice, the spanish are money crazed at the mo,
