Just wanted to let you guys know that the job we posted yesterday will be are last on the forum.

Im sure this will be music to some of your ears.

Thanks to all the guys that have made it even harder for me to find a job. ffs

Isn't it funny how you can put a scaffold up that's pretty straight forward and sometimes it ends up being a biatch of a job.I know we have all had this before.However that must go for agencies too.I worked for Robert hurst at xmas and got paid Bang on time.Its a shame they arnt posting jobs on here anymore as we all know they was one the best paying agencies.Things have been said bad on here by them and also others have said things bad about them.However we all need to remember from this how even a basic scaffold can turn out to be a nightmare at times and how some folk on here would have NIGHTMARE every day at this present timem
 
as someone who also had to wait for wages from robert hurst (although it was only a week nowhere near as long as slav) i'm glad no other scaff from here has to endure working for robert hurst,i was fed lie after lie as to why my wages weren't in the bank,paid bank charges when direct debits took me over my over draft and genarally had a ****** week,when i finally got my money from them they acted as if i should be grateful that i actually got paid,i would advise anyone on here to steer well clear of rh,they might have paid in the end but the writings on the wall and i guarentee it won't be long before some decent scaff ends up getting knocked properly.
 
also this is about the fifth post i've seen on here from someone from rh saying they will no longer be posting on here anymore,yet as soon as they need men for a job they are straight back on here,also why carry on like you are doing the lads a favour by posting jobs on here,at the end of the day it's mutually beneficial and lets be honest the only reason you are doing it is to line your pockets,it's a shame you don't show as much concern for the lads when it comes to paying them on time,or telling them the truth as to why the money isn't in the bank and not ignoring phone calls and filling them full of sh!t
 
at the end of the day some of the scaffs on here need to wake up its agy that are f u c king this job up, why pay travel and digs when a agency can supply guys who will work for less and not want digs or travel... we have all seen it over the last year the job is the same the blue book is the same they need the same amount of men so why we not getting in? agency's
 
I aint got a problem with Agency's or any other organisation that puts money in mens pockets and food on their table , but the way RHL carry on is a disgrace , i like many other good firms pay their men what they have earned regardless of whether they themselves have been paid or not its that simple. Like i asked them ( but never got an answer) what would be the scenario that RHL didnt get paid would the lads just not get paid ?
We have all been knocked but the lads still get paid , its not their problem.
RHL are employing these lads so the onus is on them to pay their lads NOT when and if they paid by their contractors.
And then to send someone on here to insult our intelligence and pretend they are upset because they have left is just the actions of a pure CUN* that i wouldnt want to work for.
 
most of the comments about agency's are bang on lads ,to often lads get shaffted more often than not same old argument travel,bonus,holiday pay,bank holiday pay,lodge allowance and a tap on the shoulder when your services arnt required ,agency's are not welcome worse than foreign labour .
 
gave em the benifit of the doubt mate till i started reading what i read pretty grim,got to concur with you mate.
 
I have to agree. How are we meant to make a decent living with the agencies.
Taking such a big cut off our graft. Its about time the unions set up a scaffolders agency with one rate.
So we could get rid of these greedy agencies.

Its hard to tell who works for RHL and who doesn't.
