watch out for ladder theives,in and around rochdale,we had two nicked last week.

Time to start locking ladders up again then mate

i had one nicked from Plumstead a few weeks ago worst thing is there was security on site

We loose ladders every other week. Usually it's the small single lift ladders that are removed from the gable lifts and find their way inside the house before any stair case is fitted, then we get roasted for leaving the top lift without access. Digital photos along with the invoice usually does the trick.

plumstead is bandit country mate just like thamesmead , had a complete house nicked in blackheath a couple of years ago !!!!!!!!!!!! Must be a knock down gang like the old days

Absolute nightmare having all these key's eh. I've never locked them but have been tempted loads of time. I bought a load of these flashing lamps from leaches at about £60 a time, put them on a street job and came back to find them all gone. The following weekend was like Blackpool illuminations from the local junkies flat.:suspicious:

what lamps are they mate the ones which are circular with a fitting on back , get them direct of manufacturer 25 quid each tops

Feck sake scaffy, ripped off again. Have you still got my e-mail address?

:embarrest:

i'd just like to apologise to you all now. about  30 years ago i recall nicking one of those lamps that hung on skips... hahaha candles, i believe? cos there was no electric or battery... i painted it and made it look real nice..

I'M SORRY!!!!!

when you hear of what gets taken nowadays, i'm surprised you can leave a site unattended at all!

Aye that was me mate, dont know why i dont practice what i preach. We had a load of ladders nicked, the local thieves were pinching them to climb over a scrapyard wall, to pinch Copper,Zinc,Lead, Ali and owt else they could find.

We never got them back as the scrapyard owner threw them in the Auto crusher:eek:

you should have sued him mate afterall was your property
