Hi all, Im really trying to get into scaffolding, however its so difficult without any experience. I have my CSCS and am booked in to do my lgv license next week. Im 25, Im physically fit and hardworking and really want to gain experience. Please get in contact if you can help. Pete

hello mate, ye am going to ring around companies once i have my lgv, which should be end of next week hopefully, maybe that will improve my chances!

Having a lgv wont do you any harm at all, Brogans do a lot of site work and Mattersons do a lot of street work there are quite a few other firms in N London let us know how you get on mate

i have my own firm this last16 years , but i have been scaffolding in London 31 years i have worked for Brogans and Mattersons there not the worst firms around

it is better to just do the HGV takes you up to 28 tonne rigid ( i think) its called C class

hello pmoralee i know mattisons are v busy at the moment not sure whether they would take on a rigid lorry labourer as most scaffs have there c class if u have c+e you would be guarenteed a start good luck there number is 02083650055 lester is the man to talk to even just as a labourer give it a crack scaffolding sets you free.

It's called LGV c now, I'm doing upto 32 tonnes, passed the theory today, booked in for next week to 5 day training and test
