the craft rate for a fully qualified scaffolder has increased to £10.46 as of the 1st of September 2011. I have seen agencies quoting £8-£10 per hour. This is unacceptable and undermines our industry. Don't work for less than the agreed national minimum unless your personal circumstances are so dire that choice is not an option. Fares and travel times have increased as well and a visit to the UCATT site should allow you to avail yourself of the exact sums available. Happy Trails

I was wondering... £10.46 an hour is the average rate? So im guessing that it is higher or lower depending on where abouts your working and live?

Or is it the minimum rate?
