i'VE BEEN SCAFFOLDING SINCE 1981. WORKED WITH SOME OF THE BEST PEOPLE THIS COUNTRY HAS EVER PRODUSED/SALT OF THE EARTH PEOPLE[NORMAL PEOPLE] GRAFTERS TOP MEN /MEN WHO WORKED THERE B******KS OFF FOR COMPANY'S THAT USED THEM TO THE BONE. BLOKES WHO KNEW NOTHING ELSE/BLOKES WHO COULD'NT READ OR WRITE EVEN TO THIS DAY / BUT NO HOW TO ERECT A PERFECT SCAFFOLD WITHOUT A DESIGN DRAWING.EXPERIENCE YOU MIGHT SAY? THESE FELLAS HAD EXPERIENCE PASSED DOWN TO THEM BY THE SCAFFOLDERS WHO WERE THERE BEFORE THEM.[IS IT TIME] WE HAD RESPECT FOR THE ONES WE LOST ALONG THE WAY:sad:

Thats the trouble the old boys a retiring and there experience is going with them as this industry is full of super scaffs just in it for the glory and good times but where are they when the **** hits the fan

Sadly the scaffolders gang hierarchy seams to be a thing past scaffs were graded by there peers on knowledge and ability regardless of tickets, laborer/improver, first fixer and leading hand everyone knew there place and the banter down the chain made the jobs fly up, Happy Days

Thats so true as there are to many advanced ticketed scaffs out there with limted knowledge being chargehands but infact they could not charge a battery
