Information required please

Hi all,after doing my cots last year i have my cisrs trainees card,i have just done my part 1,does this card become updated so it says part 1 on the bottom instead of trainee or does it just stay trainee until you do your part 2.basically if i apply for jobs as a part 1,showing my cisrs trainees card will be sufficient as theres nothing to update.

will still be trainee card but if you send away for new one it wil say part 1 t&f on the back

U will need to contact CISRS mate, they will send you can download an application for a CISRS card this is the form u need follow this link http://cisrs.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/CISRS-Trainee-Application-Form.pdf yours will be the application for a trainee scaffolders card same card but will have details of your training on the back. I had to update my card a few years ago with the Layher system course. Some sites that use specific systems require the accredited course on the card even if u got the certificate. cheers jiggaman and rick I thought there was somewhere you could put the information on,do either of you fellers reckon I could get away with saying ive done my part 1 without having the card updated just for now,till it came back,as the last time I upgraded my card after the cots it took ages.

U will need to take your part 1 certificate with you along with your card :blink1:

right ok that's great,cheers mate for the info,now just to get a start again,just got laid off in Lincoln and not much happening so might have to look further afield now I have my part 1.
