ILA Scotland.

Some of you's may already be aware of this funding but for those of you's that dont here's some info that may help you out on gaining employment.

In Scotland you can apply to ILA Scotland for a grant of £200 to fund courses such as Health & Safety Passport, CSCS, PTS, first aid courses and many more.

This funding is available to anyone in Scotland that is unemployed or have earned less tha £22,000 in the last year. You can find out more information on their website and also apply.

PS: This funding is available annually

Yeah i used mine to pay for my confined spaces and my asbestos awareness, handy thing to have seeing as theres that many different courses to get through

Seen on 1 of your other threads George that you were talking about getting your PTS training, do you have a company that is going to sponser you for it? ive been trying to find 1 in Scotland for a while now with no luck

No i'm just doing it off my own back if you check the ILA website theres a couple of companies that accept you without a sponser bud.

Had a look before and couldny find anything, i'll have a look again, cheers for that buddy

Had a look again mate, could only find 1 company from ILA an it was a mob from Edinburgh but when you go on to there own site it talks about a sponser.

Dont know if am just being dumb but have you been in contact with any of the companies youve seen and theyve said it alright without a sponser?

If so who was it?
