How strict is nuculear clearance

Yes guys.just wondered if anyone can help me.hickly point is due to start soon and the boys are getting disclosure scotland forms in.basically i got a custodial on my record.havnt been in trouble for for 7 years is it worth me putting in for crb or am i wastiong my time.any help is much apprieciated.thanks

I'm no expert but I think it depends on what level the actual offence was. There is a website you can check out to see exactly when yours is spent. They also tell me, not all convictions are a show stopper as long as they are declared correctly.
 
If your custodial was under 12 months it is spent after 5 years of release,no need to declare it.
 
Mine will stay with me for life.its was drug offences.young dumb and to much money.this was 7yesrs ago now tho.

That wont count against you as long as you declare all on the forms you will be fine..
 
I got one fine with a drug incident infact the bloke I was with on a job had records as long as ur arm and had court impending so should be fine fella
