hey looking to get into this trade but just dont know where to start

like it says i want to get into this trade i been doing different site jobs but this is allways somthing i wanted to do just every one i talk to doesnt have a clue where to start hopefully one of you guys can help any advice would be much appreciated thanks:D :D :D :D
 
Welcome benking you gotta start at the bottom mate try and get a job labouring with a scaffolding firm and then watch everything and work hard , get your own spanners and push yourself and if its what you want it will happen , all the best with mate :)

gives you a good living, meet some great lads:love: and some nobheads:cry: and it ruins your body full stop.:D
 
hi mate best bet phone around and see what firms are taking on labourers out on the sites or even in a scaffold yard so you know what different fittings are used for what likes of doubles and swivels and singles and the likes hope thats help for you thats how i started
 
Good luck mate think cisrs issue labouring cards (bottom hand)cards than i would contact companies.Or ring some small firms on the town start from the bottom and trust me you will learn alot and become a better scaff good luck mate

Hey Guys....been looking for a way to make a post for days now, and thank God i found a post i can actually say something, but i guess i need some advice from you all too, i am new into this trade, well not so new, been at it for the past 6months and i'm loving it, i'm a Nigerian and i live in Warri, Delta State Nigeria...just wanna know if the scaffolding trade is the same the world over? and see how i can actually grow in it even more....hope to hear from you all with some useful advice....thanks
