Hi,
Im new to scaffolding and going to get my scaffolding ticket next week ( Basic ) wondering where good places would be to look to start off, not to fussed if its just labouring around a scaffolding place to gain experience.
Also where to Australian scaffolding tickets stand over seas as i was thinking of moving to London in a month or so.

Aussie tickets have no value overseas mate. This is because as you said you are new to scaffolding but can get your aussie ticket next week.
Anyway welcome to the forum.

So basically your saying it doesn't matter what tickets you have it is just the amount of experience you have.
I've come from a mining background so just getting used to the system and trying to get a go.

You will know that its very easy to get a scaffold ticket in Australia. its harder to get on the high paying jobs as they usually want a few years of onsite experience.
In UK it takes longer to get a ticket and trainees are supposed to prove competence as well as practical experience by providing evidence and taking assessments. Although you would find it hard to believe when looking at the quality of the young scaffolders these days. :p
