hemispherical washers

Do you have to use hemispherical washers with the thunderbolts through band and plate or would a normal washer do the same job for tying in?????

You definitely need the half moon washer.

Tbh m8 i dont bother - normal m12/14 washers work fine & are a lot cheeper- theres no movement to the b&p tie & its the bolt that ur pull testing not the washer

thanks for the info guys its just we got about 500 out i use the now all using the hemisherical washer. And need another 100 for new job just not wanting to pay out for more lol

I bought 50 half moon washers last year and rate them big time,
They pull the band completely tight to the wall ,

They type that Alan has shown is what I have used up until now and rate them as well
Very easy to make just a piece of flat bar with 2 bits of rod Weald on and a 13 mm hole.
