Help?

Hi just comw across this forum seems like could get a bit of help. I am 25 and worked on scaffolding for just over three years. the problem is my manager never put me in for my cards and have now been made redundant making it very hard for me to get a job. Any suggestions thanks

Hi Tomo,

You could start at your local Job Centre to see if there's any funding available for Training.
The fact that you've been made redundant might actually be of help to you... I did the Advanced course recently and one of the lads on the course was being financed via the Job Centre..

Also have to say that its gonna be hard for you to find work, just look through some of the posts on this forum and you'll get an idea of just how many of the lads are in the same position as you are....

there is redundancy funding available... or its 6 mths on the dole im affraid... check with your centre depending where you live.
