Just a wee question to anyone that may be able to help. Does anybody have a clue how i would go about getting into the paperwork side of scaffolding? would i need to go to college or anything?
Have done scaffolding for 16 years and am now buggered wi arthritis so cant do the physical anymore, need to keep working though.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

cheers

Hi Paul, a few of the lads on here have done there NEBOSH and used that to get into the Health and Safety side of the game , I think it is a day release course at college . Another option is scaffold inspection.

good luck whatever you decide.

as podger said nebosh, health n safety and scaffold inspection.

or you could if you have the time and money go into further education and get qualified to become an instructer, estimator, possible designer, supervisory positions, contracts manager.

dont know how bad your arthritis is but could you do yard work while doing part time education, or how about sales work
