how long after doing my part 2 assesment do i need to wait to do my advanced

6 months, is the minimum time - im almost certain.

6 months if you done the 1 day assesment or 1 year if u did the 2 day assesment (its punishment for not doing your portfolio!).. but i would leave it 6 years unless you are either sh*t hot or have already been in the game for a long time. No one likes an advanced kid who still scratches their head.

As ever I may be very wrong but from what they tell me you can go back and do your assessment as soon as you like but you will have to wait 6 months before they will issue your card.

Don't shoot the messenger, it's only what I'm told but if you really were wanting to do it sooner I would call the centre rather than listen to rumour on here.

It takes about a month before you can apply for your card.

part 1 = cycling proficiency test

part 2 = car license

advanced = hgv 1 license

dont try to run before you can walk.
