Any help with a couple of questions for NVQ would be great thanks Q1 Protection fans should support a minimum load of? Q2What are the minimum base dimensions of a freestanding scaffold tower? always thought it was 5ft by 5ft!

Doesn't say anything about about class on the paper, just what it says in Q1,if it helps its for the NVQ part 2 basic card.I did course in 2007,its seems a lot more paperwork these days!done the 1 day assessment and portfolio. The 2 questions are what I got wrong. I then I have to have a professional discussion,to get my c.i.s.r.s card!!! I should have done this years ago!

Class A fan maximum loading 0.75kN/m2
Class B fan maximum loading 1kN/m2
Freestanding towers should not have a base dimension less than 1.2m

The minimum base dimension when I done my cards was 3/1/2 three and a half times the base dimension,so in old money,if you were six boards wide you were ok for three lifts,i know it changed a while back, but if you use the 4x4 tie pattern this will still suffice, but it's not freestanding then lol, dont use this as yrour answer though CH because you'll fail:wondering:though we've more or less reverted back to 5973 haven't we?without googling it(why don't you pal?)feck knows:laugh::laugh:
