Got material insurance etc just starting up any advice how to get work

Why did you buy gear wiypthout work ?
You would have been better to get a job and then buy the kit you need for it ,
As nothing surer you won't have bought the right kit.

Firstly you need to work out what sort of work your after , house fronts , sites etc etc
Then you need to advertise ,
Go around small builders , roofers , painters and hand out business cards .
You can advertise on a few on line sites for free .

I got a lot of material from a family friend virtually for free a long story an ex builder. I have a good job so I am not in any rush just thought I would look and see.

I wish you all the best ,business cards post them everywhere just go for a basic listing in yell.com put an add in your local paper send letters of introduction and request for your details to be considered for any future tenders all the best ps it's not easy
