hello,just joined up today, anyone know were there is anywork? nothing in bedford area.. willing to travel, just so can work, stay in digs if have too

You will get plenty advice on here Joe, there is an advert in the jobs page for off-shore but experience tells me it wont be easy without a contact. I would say don't even bother looking until you get your survival and medical and even then you will need a chunk of luck and plenty of patience to get a kick in. Don't be put off and welcome to the forum.

trust me i know, been doing it 14 years, first time been out of work, hate it, doing my head in
 
Sorry to hear that Joe, I don't think off-shore is the quick fix for a start though. There seems to be a market for short term work through the agencies for men willing to be flexible and maybe willing to travel a bit. What ever you decide to do good luck it cant go on forever.

wasnt quick fix, have been thinking about it for a while, nows prob the time to make that change and jump? even found they looking for scaffolders in australia, that might be a choice? who knows
