Hi,

I'm James Day from Gary Day Associates - the people who do the CASE scaffolding estimating package).

27 years ago I was flipping longs as a bottom hand - these days I'm writing scaffolding software.

Obviously the admin may rightly feel that our presence on here could be construed as advertising - if so we will respect that decision. I am certainly not here to 'sell' - more for a bit of industry chat.

You are more than welcome to post on the forum.

I only have a problem with users who signup and then just blast links into every post and think that's acceptable.

I am sure that you will be able to provide some helpful answers in the Scaffold Designers and Estimating Forum.

Welcome to the Forum.

I don't do estimating anymore, but welcome and sure you will be asked some questions for the use of estimating systems.

There are a few of threads on estimating and systems on here.

hi james , if your interested we have just set up a facebook page aswell its very basic at present , havnt had time to construct it properly yet but at some point i will probably set up a supplier discussion one post per company , obviously forum sponsors stay at top hint hint lol

Quick question :- Is there any way at all that the tiltle 'Dear Sirs' can be modified to suit an individual client when producing a CASE quote?

I don't think it goes down too well when dealing with female clients!

Phil - it's an option that's on its way hopefully in the next update.

This isn't really the place to handle CASE support questions - I'll have a chat with the admin about the possibility of a CASE forum on here etc.
