Just like to say hello to everyone here.
Am looking to recruit EXPERIENCED project management team for a refurbishment and expansion project at Nadi Airport Fiji Islands. This will be a project with an approximate duration of 12 to 18 months.
PLEASE NOTE this is a supervisory scaffolding position. If interested please enquire through PM in the first instance. SORRY only applicants between 50 and 65 years need apply.

Just googled it too seems there is a pacific access company but in US
Why only want men over 50? Would have thought over 50s should have earnt enough money and retired if they had been any good?

you could be spot on.must be bambo scaff like bad bobs picture

We had thought that by contacting access professionals by using a forum such as this would bypass the need to use expensive recruitment agencies.
However judging by the comments and indeed the CVs we have received we are guilty of a poor error of judgement and may have well advertised in a pub in UK.
So back to the tried and tested albeit expensive recruitment consultants.
 
You get what you pay for . I can only imagine the age thing is incase your new recruit cops of with your misses . Bit sad really .

I should think that is exactly the kind of comment that they are referring to. Isnt it about time we started acting professionally in front of potential recruiters and moved away from the "oi luv you want a bit of my pole" kind of mentality that scaffolders have been associated with for generations?
Start acting professionally and start getting paid professionally?
Just a thought!
