Hi there form Canada. I ran into this site from browsing online for good used equipment to purchase and from what I've seen it looks to be a very good resource for guys like us who truly enjoy installing scaffold. I run a scaffold company on the west coast ( Vancouver) with anywhere from 25- 30 people depending on how busy we are. We had more for most of 2009 what with Olympic related projects but that was an anomaly.I'm currently wondering if anyone has any ideas where one could buy good condition used Layher all around. I've got a decent supply of plettac and chinese stuff but I want to get away form the China stuff as it's nowhere near the same as Layher. If any one has any ideas please let me know , as we've got some good sized work coming up and are looking to expand our inventory.Thanks for letting me post on this great site and Hello again

Hello bob, we're not looking right now as we're just starting to pick up after a slow period, but thanks for the interest. Are things picking up in your end of the world ?
 
My end of the world. not my world mate, been back in UK 3 months, after spending 25years overseas, trying everything in my power to get work here, it is not easy, alot of guys on this site in similar positions, to be honest i would rather be out of here and in another world. thanks.

Canada is a great country, been to Nova Scotia a couple of times.

Have a mate of mine who moved out there to work for a Construction Company with a scaffolding division.

Sorry cant help you with Layher - They have a canadian office though.
