Hello all,

I'm Alex a 39 year old Scaffolder from Kent.

Been in the game since I left school in 1987.

I've been asked to join this forum by a few mates at work, where I am the
industrial relations guy.

A few people have said that my fellow scaffs have been having problems
with the ECITB and CISRS card schemes.

If the administrators of this website could pm me I will have chat with them
about a website that I have setup, to try and get some clarity on these
matters.

I will give my phone number to the other parties who are trying to get this
Mess sorted through other channels if they need to contact me.

I look forward to your replies.

Alex

Hi Scaffinity and welcome to the forum. Admin is taking a well deserved break and it could be a while before he answers all pm's. Try contacting Ragscaff with any and all information you have. Also look for the SCCR and see what you think of that one.

We have been in touch with Tom Hardacre of Unite and we have informed him of the current situation with regards to ECITB tickets. His understanding was that an ECITB card holder would retain the terms conditions and pay grades until they retire that would be in alignment with the NJC wage grades I.e 1-6 at present Grade 6 is £14.88p per hour before bonus. When I am out of hospital I will take a representative from this forum to a meeting with him and some others in order to get a clear mandate to operate from.

Scaffinity, Firstly on behalf of the SF and SCCR, we wish you a speedy recovery mate, regarding your hospital admission.

We at the SCCR would be very interested, to enter dialogue with you regarding the current ECITB fiasco, as this is a area we are representing to the HSE on 27th Oct .

For further info, contact ragscaff (chair) or join the SCCR.

Best regards
Paddy H&S development secretary, SCCR
