Evening lads, I completed my Advanced Inspection course back in February and was concerned as to why I hadn't received my card. I hold a current BOSIET and was told this would cover me not to do the health and safety touch screen test. CITB have told me that this isn't the case for inspection cards, and I must complete a touch screen test, anybody any the wiser? The back of the card application states that the BOSIET is fine to use?? Confused??

Is your boiset in date?
I used my SMSTS cert as touch screen test even though its valid for five years I could only use it if I passed the smsts within two years

Send a copy of survival with your card application mate

Sorry a seen what you mean. Unsure

Safety passport makes the touch screen not needed aswell a think

evening stevie, i was able to use my BOSIET to claim my advanced card but was told i needed to do the health & safety touch screen at either supervisor level or the working at height one to go with my inspection ticket, don't know the reason for this & if you remember i did both courses one after the other. Just another money scam i think.

Alright Dave, I tried ringing you before to ask how you went on. So its right then, i'll have to book the touch screen. Did you do it in blackpool pal?

This is from Citb at Erith website, shows your survival ticket valid in the last 2 years is good enough, moving goalposts again, kerching

Not if you've done the new one recently that has the specialist section of Working at Height in it, then you don't have to do the supervisors one.

alright pal, had to book mine so that it was during my offshore leave, ended up doing it in Preston, think you can still do it in Blackpool though, i'll try & ring you tuesday night, don't think i'll be off Thursday due to the weather again(7 trips on the bounce now)
