Anyone know where i can get hold of any of the old haki roof system?

Putting a price together for a roof, but it's the most awkward b4st4rd with buttress' and other roof pitches coming into it, so i'm never gunna to be able to seal a UBIX and keder roof, which is all we normally use.

I can either buy or hire the kit. Not a big roof 8m span x 4 @ 3m bays.

Cheers chaps

Have you concidered having it wrapped - maybe an option if the pitches arecthat awkward - we did one last year where 90% was ubix with the final bit being encased & it worked a treat

Yeh, had a think about it SP but you need to wrap the ends of the sheet on a tube, so think i'd struggle to get them near enough to the wall and roof to form a good enough seal. Think the best way would be the old Haki 450 roof, it's easy to adapt to fire in between the buttresses, can get the sheets tight up to wall and batten them into mortar joints to form a basic flashing. It's also the double hipped roof coming out of the main church nave, that is the big problem, with the wide haki sheets, you can nip them under the slates and support the underside of it with a couple of boards and a bit of ply fixed to the sheet to stop it pulling out with the weight of the water, all fixed on a little saddle to form a fall divert the water away, use the sheet to form a bag-o-a-Shi7e gutter if you will.I'll never get it bob o no matter how i do it.

Youd be surprised what you can do with wrapping....could alway attach a waling bar to brickwork & wrap to that os same scenario as attach to walls wirh battens then wrap back to scaffold- it can be quite expensive but tbh if we needed a full encapsulation again I dont think monarflex or sheeting suits cutting inbetween buttress etc whrre asvwrappung just welds to itself & anyrging else when heated lol

Does us a favour pal, can you send us a piccy of the detail up close to the wall please, if you have one. just curious on the gap from tube to wall. Cheers ears.

Sorry bud but its down now but the waling bar can be fitted to the wall with b&p but that only leaves a few mm to pull it through.but if u use m16 ringbolts it allows about 50mm - or pull the sheet down onto the wall & fix it with a counter batten

No worries SP, Counter batten would be favorite, that's how i'd seal it with the HAKI roof. I'll let you know how we do it, if i get the rascal.
