Good morning to all my fellow scaffolders the kings of construction
I found the site while browsing the net yesterday and have had a good look around your site It is a great site full of useful information to scaff's
First of all a big thank you to all those that put this website together It has the potential to make a big impact on various areas of our day to day working terms,conditions,and gives us an opertunity to share our views and knowledge
I am definatly of the old school:evil:,started my career as a yard labourer for mills scaffolding limited in 1964 :sad2: worked my way through to advanced scaff at the start of the CISRS scheme in 1979.Have held jobs as charghand,forman,supervisor,contracts manager and even ran my own limited company for a number of years About five years ago I went down the H & S route gaining my NEBOSH National Construction Certificate 2 years ago
I am a tech member of IOSH and am at present setting up a scaffold inspection business
You now know a little about me I look forward to getting to know all of you, on first impressions you appear to be a rational, sober, hard working, and all round good eggs
