Hi there im going offshore on Thursday the montrose rig its a walk on from accommodation to the rig ive been told you get paid extra is this true? Would appreciate some feedback thanks

I would expect the conditions for this location would have been discussed with you already!
Think Taliman have an accomodation boat along side & yes I have heard there is an additional payment to personnel who transit between thwe boat & platform

You may find they will transport you using the old Billy Pugh. Remember its your kit that goes inside and not you!!

Theres also a Saturday Night Special to the beach if your lucky enough to win a ticket in the raffle, ask the O.I.M.for details .

I had heard they had done away with the raffle for the saturday night special and were now doing the saturday trips to shore for a few beers on a rota basis. Would be worthwhile seeing the OIM and getting your name down as soon as you get on the platform.
