Any one else find this job hunting a rite pain in the d@£*????? Every time i phone employers a get the same old ' we will keep your details on file for future work' and then nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think its going to get worse up to xmas,then maybe shutdowns might get going again.with four scaffold businesses going out of business in northwest lately,even less jobs for more lads to fight over.then the wages will fall,because the bosses will cotton on to it.the circle never ends.

Not just scaffolding I think construction in general is geeting worse. double dip recession, try again it's going get even worse than 2 years ago. All water companies, tunnelling companies, builders etc are not doing anything.

Yeh, I agree with you mate but its even worse when you phone up for a job and get told their not hiring and have no work and then find out a week later they are starting 10 men, now that does piss me off.:evil:
