George Osborne flies in Super Puma AS332 L

An offshore helicopter company has resumed Super Puma helicopter flights carrying passengers to oil and gas installations.

Bristow said it resumed operations using the Super Puma AS332 L on Monday after an earlier suspension was lifted.

The aircraft is a different model to the Super Puma that crashed off Shetland last month, leaving four people dead.

Chancellor George Osborne - who later flew offshore in one of the Super Puma AS332 Ls - paid tribute to the "brave" workers who died.

Mr Osborne said he recognised the "vital" role the oil and gas industry plays in the UK economy.

He also mentioned how if Scotland did get independence they'd lose the £8b tax breaks the oil and gas industry get from the UK... yeah but the oil and gas workers don't get ALL the tax breaks they should

What was that's fuds name that feed his daughter beefburgers during the bse scare?

As for the tax break, well that's fekin obvious but how much are they paying in to get a break that size? Some issues should be standalone, if you're coming up here to pay homage to those that died, keep it at that instead of trying to drip feed us information on a side issue.

Hes more worried that the Bears strike and refuse to go out in the fecking death traps EUROCOPTER are not the only helicopter manufaturer.
I flew offshore in Holland and Saudi in Westland Famagustas which are a part BRITISH Company so whats the issue:mad:

Just a shame the one Osbourne was in didn't take a nosedive into the briney deep.

Is the eurocopter a british manufactor?. If it isnt then theres your answer happy. The government are more intrested in using foreign equipment than use british manfactoring.
