its my first posting and i just want to say hello

Anybody know of any estimating positions available

as they are closing my company down in August

SENIOR ESTIMATOR
Industrial Services Division

A Senior Estimator is required to join our Industrial Services Division. Located between Head Office, Barnetby and Hartlepool and reporting to the Estimating Manager, the role will involve the preparation of competitive quotations, client liaison and negotiation, with extensive travel around the Industrial Services sites and client locations.
To be considered you must be technically capable with previous estimating experience, have good all round negotiation skills, a methodical approach, show commitment and enthusiasm, and have excellent numerical and written skills.
This is a challenging role, which offers significant opportunities to the successful candidate.

Will have a lot more input when i secure a new position in life LOL

work 12 hours a day over 5 days and then weekends and you still get pissed on from those above.

No good moaning, just keeping my eye out for something new

Whats happening are they goin skint or downsizing
 
In their words they are putting the firm into mothballs until the present climate improves, when they interviewed me for the job i told them they would not get rich overnight, i would need 18-24 months working 24/7 to get a new firm to be something like, well as stated after 11 months and personally securing over 800k of work they said its not enough and thanks but no thanks we will close in August, so F--K off and learn how to sign on
its not only me but the contracts manager, supervisor and some good scaffolders have been thrown on the scrapheap because some money mad ******** directors listen to all the hangers on not the people that know the job:eek::eek::eek:
 
Shame mate sounds like waste of your time -- had you just set up a new yard ?
Any nice lumps flats etc comin up ?

P.m me if your looking to sell any leads for cash allways up for a bit of out of town supply and erect
 
Southcoast and london but scaffolded doncaster hospital a few years ago and done a rake of refurbs in hessle , will take work on anywhere if the right client and prices etc and line your pocket at same time
Especially interested if for credit worthy clients lovell fhm bramall etc
