Whats it like on gemini riteway. Any body know what the money like?
 
big firm down this way that seems to retain its men so cant be that bad , some depots do price work i think
 
same as usual then. cant get gear to u so you cant earn money.

your about right there , a lot of our lads and estimators are ex Gemini , reasonable sized outfit , take it your looking to go on with the guildford depot ??
They used to have the film studio work and a lot of middle east stuff but i think thats all gone now
 
i think they are still in Gibraltar ...and they did have loads of depots when i was straightening their tube
 
Changed me mind if its price work. Same old story wherever u go and then u only get 3 ton of gear to do a days work.
 
dont think every depot does price , but was under the illusion only way to earn money on there as the daywork rates aint all that
Know what you mean about next to no gear thats standard practice aint it
 
Pompey dept was price when my mate was there. They had no work one day so he had to go to the Ringwood dept unload a lorry and then get to a job and take it down, he turned round and went home!
