It has come to my attention that a prominent forum member made defamatory and potentially damaging accusations against other forum members and a well-respected company over the weekend. This member has now been permanently banned from the Scaffolders Forum.
Please note that making unsubstantiated accusations, whether in jest or not, could lead to people’s careers and personal lives being irreversibly damaged. You only have to read a newspaper or watch a news bulletin to see that this currently a hot-topic.
Making these kinds of accusations on a public forum could lead to legal proceedings being issued against the author and against the Scaffolders Forum itself. Once the law becomes involved, I have no choice but to comply with the prosecutors requests.
