For anyone on this page who might be looking for a change of scenery, We are looking for Part 2 and Advanced ticketed scaffolders who are keen to relocate to NEW ZEALAND. The pay is generally no better than the UK, so this is not an opportunity for those looking for some quick cash. These are permanent full time contracts, which allow you to apply for a work visa into NZ (Immigration policy is very protected compared to what it is here in the UK being part of the EU) and there is a pathway to apply for residency after 2 years. Work is mainly streetworks and Commercial projects - work is ongoing for the next 10-15 years. This suits young workers under 31 who want to travel out to NZ for a year and see how it goes, and also couples and families who are over their repetitive life in the UK where all you do is chase the next contract and put up with crap weather! Those with kids will love NZ as it is a fantastic place to raise a family. Employers are assisting with accommodation and a car for a month and reimbursing flights after 3-6 months of service. You are responsible for the cost of your visa. Interviews are done via Skype with the employer, so no need to go out there for interviews.
