Funny guy. How much experience do you have ? Must be a special man if you think you can insult somebody else(or try too) over scaffolding experience . Straight up cockbag

Make sure you don't fail due to sheer un-intelligence and lack of scaffolding ability you mong.

@ Dannyboy23…welcome to the Bear Pit Brother Scaffolder…keep pestering them until they get sick O yi and hope for a wee break, however, campaigns maybe thin on the ground this Season :sad2:…anyway, best of luck and hope you get your Maiden trip soon...

Mrspanner you would be suprised at just how many TRAINED AND COMPETANT scaffolders cant manage that.
as for danny boy there is not a lot going about and probably even less in the coming year.the price of oil will put on hold many planned big construction and barge campaigns.
you never know you could phone at the right time
best of luck.;)
wilf have you done you assesment yet?

I was thinking about all the oil prices falling and then was thinking if there would be a boost int shutdown and decommissioning work if the oil prices continue to fall ? I don't know I could be wrong mate. Just keep trying cheers for the info lads.

You would think that but it seems projects are being cancelled or curtailed, if I were you I would be looking at onshore work as offshore is going down fast at the moment, hopefully it will pick up.

I'm employed onshore mate price work at the minute going well just never been offshore , hopefully off before I'm 23 mate and there's always work regardless being onshore or off that's a good thing about this trade

five years now thats a long time in the game they will be kicking your door down with that kind of experience

I was in the UK for a few days earlier this week. One guy turned up for interview. 20 years old with a part one wanting to work offshore in South East Asia. I suggested that he should get some experience, some more qualifications and maybe some offshore experience in the UK sector. He was annoyed at my suggestion and said he only wanted to work in Asia. I sent him away and told HR they needed to raise their screenng standards before wasting both my and his time. So many youngsters want to run before they can walk these days.

Guys there are cut backs but lloyds insurance dictate what maintenance need doing whether it be Cat 1, 2, or 3 for importance. There shall always be work for scaffs not sure of rates and conditions tho 2x2 or most certainly 3x3 so anyone that looking for first trip offshore it always there Cape got 2 fresh guys of to the claire on Wed 21st
