I was asked a question this morning if there is anything on the market that would stop a fire on a site from spreading to neighbouring properties. As our scaffolding is right on the boundary, and i'ts a timber frame structure, is there any kind of netting or monaflex that would slow a fire down should there be an incident on site?:wondering::wondering:

I suppose flame retardant netting or monarflex would slow the fire down, isn't that what it's for?

i know similar products in other industries are designed to basically shrink to nothing if flames hit them with not much harmfull gases given off,,,,get tube underslung from the transoms running lengthways across the whole job, then drill little holes in it ,attach a fire hose to one end and hey presto scaff sprinkler system,,,,yet again anyone goes on dragons den with that i want 50% ;)

I'm sure mother nature wont let you down, has'nt stopped raining for weeks lol
