New on here but just wondered if this is normal with big house builders, we have worked for a small developer for a number of years and always charged on 5 percent weekly on extended hire over the initial period. They have set on a QS from one of the national house builders and have said moving forward on new sites no extended hire costs will be paid. How can this work or is it normal practise?
