Went to strip a job this morning to find it already dropped, the gear everywhere and all my boards gone, around 40 in total.
Rang the builder and he denies all knowledge of this saying someone else did it. Yeah right!

Gone onto his facebook page tonight and the clown has posted pics of his latest job with all my boards on his tressles in my colours.

I've taken a screen shot and saved the image.

Interested to hear how each one of you would now tackle this. I've already spoke to him on the phone earlier and he does not know that I know 100% he has them!
 
What a toerag. Wait till jigger reads this. Knicked your boards and you have photo's of them on another site. You could let him know youve tracked them down and considering reporting theft to police. He's taking you for a mug so hammer the prik.
 
Never use what you know until the time is right mate ,
I would just turn up with all my lads and take my boards back ,

And when he phones up say ,

What ?
Better I collet them then you pay X extra hire
Or I have to phone the police and report them stolen ,
Or I have to send pay someone to collect them ,
 
At this moment in time he has 24 hours to put the cost of the boards into our bank account. I don't know where his site is to collect them back but we do know his address. Just had this on another site as well a new build where the builder took braces and five's from all over the place then claimed they were is even though they had our colours on! Seems to be getting more common place this at the moment!
 
Its Theft, plain and simple. Proving who stole your material in court is a completely different ballgame. Charge the Illegitimate anus as much as you can for the loss from site during his possession of the materials and never work for him again.
 
We had it with a builder we do a bit of work for he took about 15 inside boards and made out he did not know where they had gone see them on 1 of his trucks few days later had another job to but up for him so left the boards off it and when he phone told him to use the ones he had on his truck the week before
