DSL Industrial Services secures a 3 year contract at Coryton Refinery
The Industrial Services Division of Deborah Services Limited is pleased to announce that they have successfully secured a 3 year extension to the existing Maintenance Contract for the provision of Access, Insulation and Asbestos Removal for Petroplus at the Coryton Refinery site in Essex.
The company has been working on the Refinery since 1996 initially for Mobil and for Petroplus after they acquired the Refinery from BP in May 2007.
In October 2007 DSL were awarded the AIA Maintenance Contract for Access, Insulation and Asbestos Removal works for the entire site which has now successfully been renegotiated until August 2014.
The Coryton refinery is located on a 589-hectare site in the South East region of the UK. It is approximately 40 kilometres east of London on the Thames Estuary. The refinery is an integrated atmospheric-vacuum distillation, fluid catalytic cracking refinery with a total throughput capacity of 220,000 barrels per day.
Commenting on the award DSL Managing Director, Steve Flounders stated ‘‘DSL are absolutely delighted that Petroplus have extended our current contract for a further three years. The excellent working relationship that we have developed with Petroplus since 2007 and the commercial and operational savings we have jointly delivered to the Refinery has been instrumental in our success and long may this continue’’.
