A builder was asked by police to take down scaffolding in Brighouse town centre.


The scaffolding, which had been erected in Thornton Square, was deemed unsafe by police.

Calderdale council were also present when the scaffolding was eventually taken down at 4.10pm.

The area was closed to traffic while the scaffolding was removed.

In my day a raking shore used to go in to the building. Maybe there was a building on the other side that has now gone.

No rickshaws GM its all tricycles out here. Basically a motorcycle with sidecar. Best transport system in the world here you dont have to walk anywhere. lol
