Hey all,

Got a broken ankle so been lumbered with the paperwork...

looking through the old mans risk assessment and method statement that he uses and its using:

SG4.05 (should it be SG4.10?)

working at height regs 2005

BSEN 12811 (is this still relevent)

TG20.08

Would someone with more knowledge than me know anything about this?:toung:

It should be updated to each individual job as specified eg chimney stack tiles on roof to birdcage over a swimming pool gone are the day of be careful out their

If you can get away with it stick to SG4:05, if you can't then it's SG4:10.

I think everything is still relevant except the SG, it should be 10 rather than 05 now. It doesn't mean you have to use a step or AGR just show you are following best practice which for most is a step but if you are happy sliding a rail or whatever you are fine doing what you want.
