Seems the Insulation Engineers(?) are all outside the gates at GDF SUEZ new boiler construction at Haverton Hill this morning. Something to do with the number of Polish Laggers on site.

Queueing traffic, in both directions, due to industrial action demonstration on A1046 Haverton Hill Road in both directions at New Road, congestion to A19 (Portrack Interchange)

Calling all scaffolders this is a wake up call just look at Bifab posy Happyhungnut told the story of what happened there .time to think who is who in this game <<< and it is not all ways about money ?????

Not heard of any of this on the news.
Has anybody else or the media been informed?

The media always get most of their stuff from the forum john. Theres even rumours that Al Quaeda check the forum out to see if any scaffs are mobilising to Algeria!!
Seriously I hope if there are scaffs on this job they show solidarity with the laggers.

Its about princibles which is sadly lacking these days,as you say Old scaff this is a wake up call.

Here here this **** was all meant to have been sorted in 2009,but as usual they will try to feck the common man at every turn.
The romanians and bulgarians are on their way soon as well just to keep the pay down at a level you cant survive on

british jobs for british workers first should be like the states and an employer has to argue that the non american is better for the job other than that it automatically goes to the american think this is more in the executive jobs thow but still great order

Until the construction/engineering industries get strong union representation, things will never improve.

good point well made marra but the only diffrence is laggers are mostly industrial services not domestic that were the problem of unitry lies the diffrence on the industry on the street its every man for them self on ind jobs its 1 for all and all for 1 which it should be on the streets

On the subject of union and also the fees its about 10£ to 12£ a month so if your on or around this an hour, then that one hour per month that you have work or on some jobs you get payed your tea or lunch break its payed so the next time you hear some one say its to Feckin much or what have they done for us lately. it your choice not be in the union so come out of your semi conscious world and look and listen to what is happening around us on a daily bases Its not always about the money..
