i'm on with pricing a job where i need to use an RSJ for a monorail lifting beam to carry a 2 tonne beam trolley. I can't get hold of my engineer and need to find out how deep an RSJ would be to take this weight. The beams going to be hanging under a job which is spanned with beams, which will be beefed up with the design, so span is not a problem. just need to price up the steel work. Obviously the smaller, cheaper beam section i an get away with the better!!
Cheers
