Day Rate

I have been suffering on **** pay for a considerable amount of time now. Money wont go up and a lot of boys are in the same position. Is there still money to be had in this game in this day and age? Are there firms paying the proper money out there, as the offers I have received from various firms have been a joke!

to be honest i think this game is now a joke

price work is getting harder and harder to earn good money on

think im slowly turning into a day work scaffolder, which sucks

A few years back when I did price work the same thing was happening (it must be ten times worse now) we used to work every weekend when no one was about , it was the only way to get a job up or down and make a decent wedge . If you couldn`t get on it on a weekend the job was fuc&ed .

yeap youve hit that one on the nail scaffarobbo even on day work its the same they bring in all this heath and safety and exspect the job to be done at the same time.
it just ante gana happen unless you stay late or as you say weekends.

i used to only do price work years ago and earned so serious money ,but i think it is a thing of the past now :sad:

Same all i used to do was price work and like phil earned some serious dough but before i left for New Zealand times were hard and settled on a good day rate and if i am honest it was better as you Knew how much you were earning each week and that made life alot easier , But having said that i earned good money there were also times when you could not make the job pay well at all .
