A construction worker has died at Holborn on the Crossrail Project. RIP and condolences to his family.

Shocking. Various noises going around as to what happened. Believed to be a sprayer, caking the walls in shotcrete and a part of the tunnel came down... but the official word will be out soon.

“Safety is our number one priority and Crossrail sets the most stringent safety requirements in the industry.

Tell that to your MD when their stood in the dock and it will not be of any comfort to the deceased

Piece of concrete.. surely can not mean the concrete ring sections.. they are bolted into place from when the TBM cuts through... scary for anyone working down there...
