Description


We are looking for an experienced Contracts manager to supervise up to 5 teams and work with the management to help move our fast growing firm to the next level.

You should have:

•At least 3 years experience in a similar role.

•A driving license (HGV preferred but not necessary).

•Good man management skills.

•The ability to create compliant RAMS.

•Be computer literate.



Responsibilities include:

•Organising the right men for the jobs.

•Ensuring the correct gear is on the lorries.

•Supervising the projects to ensure they are completed in a timely cost effective manner.

•Giving toolbox talks.

•Supervising the men to ensure they work to current H&S regulations.

•Signing off the scaffolds.

•Liaising with drivers to ensure DVSA compliance.



Good salary, car and additional training will be provided to the right candidate.

The ad is a bit disorganised, makes you wonder about the company in general. No mention of estimating or profit/loss - it's a supervisor's job and he will be putting in about 14 hours a day.

The joys of being a supervisor/ manager in a small firm!! Actually sounds like a doddle compared to what i've got to do.
